time as part of the acceptance process.
We intend to make admittance fairly easy, providing:
- You accept YourNet rules and regulations

YourNet Rules and Regulations.
***************Post as a bulletin starting from this point*****************
Section 1 User Regulations
1.0 User: A person who participates in the network.
1.1 Insulting or name calling or putting down another network user
is not permitted. Putting down another BBS, whether that BBS
is a member of this net or not, is also not permitted.
1.2 The use of profanity is not permitted, nor is implying such by
masking some of the characters, if the moderator can tell what
word you implied, it will be considered an infraction.
1.4 A user may freely disagree with another user, but you must
remain polite in your disagreement. We encourage differing
viewpoints, however, religious discussion is often a hot
topic, and we are trying to keep everyone at peace.
1.5 Messages must stay within the topic of the conference in which
they are posted.
1.6 All users must use their real name, no aliases or handles are
permitted without REAL names somewhere in the messages. If you
run an alias board, Your users must sighn the messages with
their real names.
1.7 No illegal activity is permitted in messages on the Net.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from
the Network.
1.8 There is no such thing as receiver only or private mail in
the YourNet Network. ALL messages can be read by the YourNet
Administrators, moderators, and sysops. The receiver only
messages MAY also be readable by other users of differing
BBS's in the YourNet Network due to software glitches and the
receiver only flag being dropped as the message passes
throughout the net. Messages whether marked private or
receiver only must still abide by all rules and regulations
of the YourNet network.
(Also encrypting messages is also not permitted)
1.9 Troublesome users (who violate these regulations), may be
warned, asked to voluntarily leave a conference for a period of
time by the moderator, or the users originating Sysop may be asked
to remove the user from the conference and/or Network.
Section 2 Node,Hub Regulations
2.0 Node : A BBS that makes network messages available to
users on their System.
2.1 Nodes must be approved by the Network Administrator,
and assigned a network NodeID before they can access the
network. The System Node is fully responsible for the long
distance costs of receiving the netmail from a recognised hub.
(Nodes must call for mail a minimum of 2 times per week)
2.2 Nodes must agree to abide by all system rules, before
they can be approved. Using your NodeID, means that you agree
to accept these rules.
2.3 System nodes, may not transfer messages to another BBS, until
they have hub status approved by the Network Administrator.
2.4 Nodes must abide by a moderator or Network Administrators request
to remove a user from a specific conference or conferences.
2.5 System node operators must make their own arrangements for the
method of transfer used between the node and their hub. This must
be agreed to by the Hub.
2.6 Nodes that violate these regulations may have their
node access cut off by their hub on the request of the
Network Administrator.
REQUIRED CONFERENCES
--------------------
Net Administration
HUB RESPONSIBILITY
2.7 Hub's must carry all conferences and call on a daily basis.
Hubs will be responible for the nodes that get mail from them.
To avoid cross echoing, all applications be forwarded to the Net
Administrator (Bill Rowlett) and copies of CFG setups if possible.
No Hubs/Nodes will permit uploading of mail into the system unless
Net Admin is send this Information and approved. However, new
nodes may download mail immediately to check setup prior
to sending the Applications and CFG setup
Section 3 Moderators
3.0 A moderator is a person who moderates or referees a
conference.
We need moderators!!!! if you would like to moderate
a conference, PLEASE let us know. We will gladly set
you in the conference of your choice!
3.1 Moderators are approved as moderators by the Network
Administrator. You must fill out an application, applying
does not guarantee acceptance.
3.2 A Moderator has authority only in their own conference, they
may not moderate another conference.
3.3 If a moderator is unavailable due to illness or vacation,
then he/she may ask another approved moderator to take over
in the interum. The moderator should notify the Network
Administrator that this is the case.
3.4 A moderator must give a minimum of two warnings of
infractions before they can request removal of a user.
The only exception is if the user grossly violates the
rules (cursing, exceeding blasphemy etc). In certain extreme
cases the moderator or YourNet Administration may request
immediate removal of a trouble user.
The moderator may then request the Node to remove the
user and the Node Sysop must comply upon receiving the
request. The Moderator will report failure to do so to the
Network Administrator.
Should a user get out of hand, the moderator may request
the user to voluntarily stay out of the conference for a
short time. This would be an alternative to the permanent
removal of a user from the conference.
3.5 A user may appeal to the Network Administrator the decision
of a moderator. The decision of the Network Administrator is
FINAL.
